- RTRicardo TorresApr 3, 20261.0I seen the doctor for an inner ear infection and the doctor wanted to put tubes in my ears. They wanted $900 upfront and there was no guarantee of improvement. I didn’t go with the surgery. But was charged $395 for a visit that included an otoscope to look in my ears which took 2 minutes tops and 15 minute visit. In the past, my primary doctor used the otoscope many times and I was never charged for this! Beware of charges as the insurance didn’t pay!
