Yes, I offer telehealth in Nebraska for individual therapy.
What mental health issues do you specialize in treating?
I treat adults navigating trauma and PTSD, caregiver fatigue, and the impact of high-control or fundamentalist religious experiences. I also work with people healing from difficult family dynamics, managing depression or anxiety, coping with hormonal or chronic health conditions, and dealing with intrusive thoughts, self-doubt, or distressing spiritual experiences.
What can I expect in the first therapy session?
The first session provides an opportunity for us to connect and for me to understand your unique experiences and concerns. It's also a chance for you to familiarize yourself with my approach and ask any questions you may have.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes! I accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, Midlands Choice, Cigna, United Healthcare and Aetna. Self-pay, HSAs and FSAs are also accepted.
Intensives are not covered by insurance.
I offer out-of-network options as well.
What evidence-based treatments do you use?
My approach to individual therapy is grounded in evidence-based treatments personalized to your needs. I primarily use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Psychodynamic Therapy to help you understand patterns, build coping skills, and create meaningful change.
I believe therapy works best when it’s genuine, curious, and collaborative. Through honest conversations, compassionate exploration, and timely, goal-focused interventions, we work together to help you feel more grounded, secure, and empowered in your life.
How often will I need to attend therapy sessions?
We will come up with a frequency for therapy sessions that is the right fit for you. Many individuals find that weekly sessions are most helpful.
How long does therapy typically last?
Duration of treatment depends on each unique situation. Sometimes challenges can be worked through in a few sessions, other times we can unpack deeply-rooted issues over several weeks or months. Once we establish our therapeutic partnership, I’m here for you in every season of life.
How do I know if you're the right therapist for me?
You may feel I’m the right therapist for you if you’re looking for someone who specializes in trauma, anxiety, religious trauma, chronic health challenges, or difficult family dynamics. I offer a safe, LGBTQIA+ affirming, trauma-informed approach focused on understanding your story and building practical tools for change.
A free consultation gives you the chance to get a sense of my style and decide whether working together feels like a good fit.
How many hours are included in a family therapy intensive?
Family intensives typically start at a minimum of two hours. The total length can vary depending on the number of participants and the specific needs of your family.

Do I need to be referred by another therapist to schedule an intensive?
No, a referral is not required. Ronelle may request a release of information from your individual therapist to ensure continuity of care.
