The hospital completed a 36,000 square foot expansion in 2021 that added a new Surgery Center, Emergency Department, Rehab Services, dedicated patient floor, and a Rural Medical Education Center. The new Unity Medical Center will be serving the region for decades to come with a facility that is not only modern in appearance but is extremely functional and provides a higher degree of safety for patients and employees.
