While my 3 sisters and I watched over her as she was discharged from the hospital for hospice care at her own home, we knew that the 4 of us could not do it by ourselves 24 hours a day. After a candidate completes the employment application, there is a multi-step interview process plus a drug screening and background check prior to joining the Home Instead team.
Upon hire, a team member will receive on-the-job training starting with orientation to learn all about how to care for an aging adult and their family.
What training do Care Professionals receive?
