- TMtom mcmurryFeb 21, 20261.0Made appointment 3 weeks prior. Said there was a $25 gift certificate for taking the exam. Needed exam but hearing specialist said I had too much ear wax. Said he couldn't do exam. Driving time plus wasted 90 minutes. Never said to clean ears. What a waste of time. No food certificate, only "see you later". Will never go back. Impersonal basically with "I don't care attitude". DO NOT RECOMMEND!
- JTJennifer ThompsonNov 26, 20241.0My Dad went through the motions of having the hearing test and decided to get the hearing aids. The older man who helped him was very nice. After 2 weeks of not being able to keep the aids in his ears, he made the decision to return them for a full refund. This was his right, as there was a 30 day return time. When he arrived for his appointment and explained his issues, there was discussion about remedies for keeping the aids in better. No, he didn't want to do that and just wanted his refund. The nice, older man who initially helped him obviously didn't like the fact that he wouldn't be getting his paycheck from my Dad's hearing aids. He proceeded to say rude things to my Dad and belittle him, saying my Dad just wanted the $5k+ back to spend on other things. (Not really his concern though) He was so rude that the receptionist felt the need to ask my Dad if he was ok when he left the older man's office. Customer service is important. This man seemed like a typical salesman. Nice at first, but angry and mean when my Dad didn't do what he wanted. So beware...hearing is important but if you want good customer service, we recommend you do not go to Miracle Ear in Winston Salem or Lexington NC.
