  Dr. Kang and Brittany are great. I've always had bad anxiety about going to the dentist, especially when getting fillings. They turn an undesirable situation into a scenario thats not so bad. Both of them are warm, professional, and work fast and efficiently to get the job done as quickly and as painlessly as possible. I have recommended them and Smith Family Cosmetic Dentistry to friends and family, and will do so again. Casey

  I went to the Carolina Beach Rd location over a painful broken tooth and was told it needed to be removed along with a couple more. Dr Zander referred me to the Porters neck location because his office doesn't do extractions The Porters neck location was very unwelcoming and not good at communication or conversation! I had 2 teeth extracted and the whole time I could feel the dentist pulling and tugging at one of the teeth and the tool kept hitting the tooth beside it. No pain but definitely pressure of the constant tugging. When completed, dentist told me there was still a small piece of the tooth up there and it shouldn't bother me. Not what I wanted to hear. I filed my insurance and paid out of pocket! I felt rushed and unwelcomed and left with missing teeth and no discussion on where to go from here.

  I had an appointment yesterday at 4pm. I love Dr. Myers - when I scheduled the appointment I forgot to mention I only want to see him. When I arrived, McKenzie told me I would be seeing another doctor, I expressed to her how I only want Dr. Myers but had accepted that I was seeing another doctor. McKenzie sat me down in a room and left - she went above and beyond and worked it out for me to see Dr. Myers. Why I love Dr. Myers is because he actually cares, I feel heard every time I express any concerns and he does a wonderful job. McKenzie and Dr. Myers are top notch!
