  After having a stroke in 2020, they were the best for me. Very caring and considerate. The therapy is the best I have received anywhere

  I'm not sure where to begin. My mother was accepted into the rehabilitation program at New Hanover after being hospitalized for fluid overload and a very nasty respiratory virus that did damage to her lungs. Nothing I can say would do justice in describing how grateful we are and how great the entire team was with my mother. PT, OT, RT, her PD nurses, Hospitalists, PA's, Nephrologists, Nurses, Case manager, Nurses aides, and all the health-care providers and team members took the greatest care of my mother and I'm forever in debt and filled with gratitude. I wish I could name all these wonderful, kind and talented people, but I'm afraid I'd miss a name. She really bonded with so many great people and they treated her so special. I feel like some miracles happened in that place. Me, mom, dad and our entire family are so thankful for all you folks did. She is doing so much better than I've seen her do in over a year. You are all awesome and we love you all! Thank you so very much! This facility is incredible and the staff are amazing! You are all so special to my mom and she will never forget you. Neither will I. Bless you all!
