my experience at autumn hall healthcare was average. 2 weeks ago i came in for a checkup because my throat was hurting me the last 2 days, after getting tests for strep and mono i tested negative for strep but i winded up testing positive for mono. i had heard of mono before but i never knew about the symptoms and the process of having mono and how serious mono actually is. the nurse practitioner and the rest of the nurses that were doing my tests and the rest of my checkup were very nice and the front desk people were nice. however the nurse practitioner did not give me the accurate information and steps on how to recover from mono. they had asked me what i did for work and i told them i am in the hair industry so i am on my feet all day 5-6 days a week, the nurse and nurse practitioner said i could go back to work and that it was okay to go back to work. when i had talked to my work about this, they told me that mono is no joke that’s extremely dangerous to work in a salon being sick like that and that if i came into work with mono, i could crash and get worse especially since like i said i am on my feet all day, talking to clients and doing their hair which is very draining to work in a environment like that with mono. because of that my work told me that i had to be out of work for 4 weeks. i did not like how the nurses weren’t upfront and honest about how the mono recovery process is and how much of work i was going to have to miss and how much time off i need to rest. there was definitely a misunderstanding on their part and as health care workers they should know how to talk to a patient when they’re sick and what to do in order to get completely well and if it’s from being out of work or any activities then that’s how it should’ve been the response regardless of how much money you’re going to have to miss in order to feel 100% again. besides that my overall experience again was average and okay, it was better than going to the urgent care.

My doctor at Novant is an EXCELLENT, PROFESSIONAL ! I give him and his staff ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️! However, the reception staff CONSISTENTLY VIOLATE people's personal information. They very loudly request patients names, addresses, dob, telephone numbers and patients emergency contact information. It is egregious beyond words! One patient provided his home address and the intake person asked "is that in Landfall?" The ASSumption that no one is paying attention or gathering the private information that is publicly announced is UNPROFESSIONAL and DANGEROUS in this age of the acquisition of private information. A driver's license, insurance card or ID should be sufficient. PLEASE STOP this violation of HIPAa! Also, the disrespectful practice of referring to patients by first names is a POOR business practice! I observed all W/M were called "Mr. Blah, blah!

My daughter went in today at 10:50am. She waited 2 hours and 22 minutes in the cold entryway (that’s where they told her to sit). Already not feeling well and she said there were people who came in after her that got seen first. She also said they did not look busy. I’m sorry I recommended this place to her, next time choosing Medac!!!! Very Disappointed! Do not recommend at all.
