  I took my 81 year-old mother to the ER at 10:00am and she was taken in immediately after basic check-in. The team ran her blood and urine quickly while she waited in a bed with a blanket. The administrative staff, nurses, and Dr. Winter were all great, the facilities were clean, and the service was excellent. This is the first ER that we.have gone to in Wilmington and in North Carolina and we were relieved that it went so well. We were in and out with tests and medication given, in around 3 hours. I was glad they treated my mom well and she didn't have to wait in an uncomfortable chair for hours to be seen.

  Was in the ER last night for a sprained foot/ankle. was taken over my ambulance after falling down stairs, a nurse came in 30 mins after i got there, i had received no pain medication on the ambulance bc emt poked me 3x and could not get a vein. I waited over an hour for any kind of medication, had my xrays done , no dr came in to tell me what they showed, until a Nursing assistant came in with a brace and crutches and told me nearly 1.5 hours after my xrays , could not figure out how to put the brace on so she was taking it on and off over and over again, mind you i had no pain meds at this time, it was when i got my discharge paper work they gave me medicine.... i gave me crutches and never adjusted them, i would not recommend this place to anyone. There was not 1 pleasant person.

  Excellent at the Orthopedic Hospital. I would highly recommend it. Just make sure they do not send you to NOVANT , the worse hospital ever, would not recommend it to anyone.
