  My step daughter has been to many doctors but no one listened to our concerns till we got to kidzcare in williamston the dr went above and beyond with both medical questions and concerns and also what products would be best for her hair 10 outta 10 recommend from the dr to the check in lady

  I would not recommend Dr.Justine at Kidzcare. I took my 15 year old there for a wellness check due to a previous high blood pressure reading at another provider. All was well until the Dr came in the room and didn’t welcome us nor introduce herself and was agitated by my daughter still having her clothes on. She told her she needed her to get undressed and asked me to step out because she would bring the nurse in and they had personal questions for her. By her being a teenager that didn’t bother me so I stepped out. Only for the nurse to come get me and asked me to see if I could talk my daughter into getting undressed for the physical. When I walked back in the Dr with a very upset and unprofessional attitude says “she refused the physical” and walked out. I get home any my daughter whom is now upset and crying said the Dr was pulling on her arm trying to make her get undressed. I called the provider and addressed the issues of her pulling on my child and let her know that my daughter whom isn’t a people person was not comfortable with her and the way she was handled. This Dr called me back and told me that she noticed cuts on my daughter hand and arm and asked was she cutting herself. Now she’s just trying to take the heat off of herself. I am with my child 365 days a year. She wears short sleeved shirts and night gowns all day everyday while she’s home and only puts on sweaters when she goes out. I stated to her that she cut herself Shaving and the fact that she has a dog that jumps and scratches her. Her dog is almost 3 and is an outside dog so we rarely cut his nails. He has been a jumper since he could jump. I explained to her that her attitude and the unwelcome environment she was in once she came in the room the way she did was the reason for the refusal of the exam. My daughter goes to other providers such as dentist and any other medical providers with no issues because of the welcoming environment and the professionalism of doctors that know how to address children. I miss Dr. Dover and thought that by this doctor being a woman it would be a good place for my child to go but I was wrong. She will never go back to Kidzcare and I don’t recommend it at all. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming but other than that it was a horrible visit for my child. On the phone Justine’s attitude had calmed and her demeanor was a lot different then what we experienced in person. I’ m sure she will report her false thoughts of self harm to authorities and that’s fine because there’s nothing to hide and it’s untrue. I will tell them just like I told Justine my daughter didn’t like the way she talked to her and handled her when I wasn’t in the room. I will be looking for another provider. Choosing this place was a terrible decision.
