I would recommend not using Novant Facilities for Physical Therapy. I am also basically rethinking all my medical related decisions and associations with this company going forward. They charge an excesive rate that your insurance provider will not come close to covering which you will have to pay the balance for out of pocket. Meanwhile there administration will tell you that you are covered by your insurance, which means nothing. If your insurance pays for example $1 of their bill Novant will just tell you covered by your insurance and then suprise when you get your bill due 6 months later. They are under no obligation apparently to give you actual accurate detailed info on what you will actually pay out of pocket with your insurance. Keep in mind they will be charging you a $11.80 per minute as of this posting for physical therapy, that is what it works out to. Three -half hour sessions of physical therapy was as much as a gym membership for the whole year. When I have had physical therapy before at other palces I have always had rates & coverage converage confirmed ahead of time and new what Iwas going to have to pay. If someone tells me I am covered by insurance I am expecting to to pay anything. Never in my life have I had to pay so much out of pocket. There is no justification for the rates Novant is charging my insurance company and in this case me (since my insurance company is rightfully not paying the full bill, just their negotiated rate). The idea that the amount over the agreed rate, which they should know before my session ahead of time, is not disclosed to me the patient is essentially trying to take advantage of us the patients. Not to mention why would this amount over the agreed upon insurance rate not be capped for your patients? You will probably end up getting this money out of me but you are going to lose our whole family from your system.

Today , I went to a medication management appointment with Leena Mitchell for my daughter, Eden, following a recent evaluation and diagnosis. This visit was scheduled over a month in advance, and I left work early specifically to accommodate what was explained to be a medication-focused appointment.
We arrived early for our 3:20 PM appointment, completed intake on time, and then waited approximately 30 minutes past the scheduled start time. If patients are expected to arrive 15 minutes early, it is reasonable to expect that appointments begin within a timely window. If the provider was not comfortable prescribing medication for a documented condition, that should have been communicated in advance via MyChart or by phone so my time — and my child’s — was not wasted.
Instead, the experience felt dismissive and disrespectful. The provider’s bedside manner came across as hostile and passive-aggressive, including eye-rolling, over-talking, and poor communication. This was particularly upsetting given that we have been established with this practice since my children were infants.
At no point prior to this visit — despite proper evaluations and documentation — was I informed that medication could not be prescribed in this setting. The process as explained to me has been: obtain a referral, complete an evaluation, receive a diagnosis, and then return for medication management. Being told otherwise at the appointment itself was confusing and frustrating.
I am seeking clarification on the care pathway, because the lack of transparency and respect during this visit was deeply disappointing.
Thao Nguyen - she Don't care about time . They can come late during appointment but if you late for 5 to 6 min then they are not taking care for patients and requested to reschedule it. it very bad experienece. I not recommeded this doctor as PCP

The staff up front is hit or miss according to the mood I guess, but my Dr. Blackwell is the most compassionate and personable dr I've ever had. He always takes time to talk to me about any questions or concerns I have. I never feel rushed or dismissed. He truly cares about his patients and listens intently to their concerns. I drive an hour to see him, but would gladly drive 2! I would, and frequently do, recommended Dr. Blackwell to everyone. He's not just my dr, he is my friend.
