Amivie is dedicated to helping people remain at home no matter how challenging their circumstances may be. Our fundamental innovation has been our entrepreneurial approach to service delivery, a customer-driven approach that returns a sense of control back to adult children and their elderly parents. We listen to our customers and bend over backwards to meet their needs. We always respect the family's point of view.
I meet Deborah, the owner, back in 2004 when my mother needed someone to come to there home a few hours a week to sit with my father so she could get out of the hours for a few hours. I never thought that in October 2019 I would be contacting her again for assistance with my mother. You will never meet a more dedicated employees, the staff who I worked with, Kim, Tara and Kia always went beyond the call of duty. If I needed anything they were always there for me any time of the day or night. They made sure my mother was well taken care of. A special thank you to Kim , her caregiver, who was with my mother five days a week. She was an angel. Joyce always came first with Kim. I cannot thank Kim enough for the care she provided. Unfortunately things happen and my mother could no longer live alone. I went immediately to Deborah the Owner of Chantilly Care Home at Riverstone where she is now a resident.
If you are in need for Home Care or Care Home for a loved one I cannot say enough good things about either facility.
Again thank all the ladies, and there are others that I did not mention for always being there for me and my mother.

Stay At Home Senior Care is the BEST!!!!!!! The caregivers that take care of our 87-yr-old mother are great! We can leave for a couple of hours, the day, or several days with complete peace, knowing that mother is in good hands. Kia, the scheduler and main 'POC', has absolutely the best attitude. If you need to change a date or a time, she is more than happy to accommodate you and never makes you feel like a nuisance. We used Stay At Home for the Christmas season, as we were out of town. The caregivers were awesome! When we called home, mother was happy, content, and being well cared for. AND, it took little effort to get back into the 'swing of things' when we got home after 6 days! The house looked as if we weren't even gone.
Choosing to care for mother in our home in her later years is so much easier with respite care from Stay At Home Senior Care. They are the BEST!

Stay at Home Services is a life saver. My 89 year old mother can not drive any longer. We hired Stay at Home Services and they have truly given me a break as a caregiver. I am a business owner and Lisa with Stay at Home Services has taken my mother to get her NC ID card, taken her to the dentist, shopping, to the bank and wherever else my mother needs to go. Then they go out to lunch. Lisa comes in once a week and my mother loves her like a second daughter. There has been a couple of times Lisa was not available and Stay At Home Services has sent someone else from their company they have always been nice and I trust them completely.
Homecare is when an individual or a loved one needs non-skilled personal care services, companion care, and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) in their home or place of residence.
Amivie is a home care provider that can help you or a loved one receive personal care services, whether they be simply focused on activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, feeding, bathing or grooming, meal prep, or light housekeeping, or more complex services such as medication reminders, transferring, ambulation, utilization of Hoyer lifts or other more sophisticated medical equipment to live in their own home or place of residence.
What types of homecare services do you provide?
At Amivie, we provide a range of care depending on the client's needs. Care can range from assistance with Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) to more complex care for seniors requiring Hoyer Lifts or Sit Stands for ambulation or Pediatric clients needing feedings or tracheostomy care. Please check with the local Amivie Provider to understand the types of care that they can provide for you, a client, or a loved one.
Is home care only available in private residences?
Homecare services can be provided wherever our client's home is located – some homes are apartments, some are Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs), some are Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF), some are their own homes, and some are in hospice houses or places or respite. No matter the setting, all our caregivers are licensed, bonded, and insured and are trained to provide the care and comfort you need in the place where the client lives, even while staying with a friend or family caregiver. Amivie and our Family of Providers deliver all levels of personal care services to help individuals live their best lives in the place they love in their homes.
Who comes to provide home care?
Different types of care require different certifications and training. Depending on your specific needs, the caregivers coming into your home can vary. Personal care and companionship services are most often provided by a Home Health Home Aide (HHA) or certified nursing assistant (CNA). All our caregivers meet state certification requirements and are trained, bonded, and insured. If you have a special request or language spoken that will enable a better interaction, please advise and request that when Making a Referral.
How do I pay for home care?
Amivie accepts payment from various insurance providers, government entities, long-term care, self, and private pay, as well as self-insured providers. Payment options are very individual based upon each person and can vary by situation. Every situation is different. Is your care available 24/7?
Yes, our services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Whether you need assistance for a few hours or around-the-clock support, our team is here to provide dependable care. We work with you to develop a schedule that best fits your lifestyle and needs, ensuring you always have the right support when you need it.
What qualifications do your caregivers have?
Our caregivers are highly trained and carefully vetted. They undergo thorough background checks and receive ongoing training to ensure they meet our high standards of care. Many of our caregivers hold certifications, such as Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and are fully bonded and insured.
