I have lived in multiple places with my children who are now nine and 10 and I have never in my life been treated so rudely or condescendingly by a pediatrician. I’m honestly so shocked at these positive reviews. I gave her three visits to give her the benefit of the doubt, each one getting increasingly patronizing. I don’t know if it’s because I’m on Medicaid and she’s assuming I’m uneducated (I’m newly disabled, but have a masters degree in public health) or what, but I would appreciate if she would treat all her patients equally with the same respect and dignity. Both of my children have ADHD, which she seems to have a very low tolerance for as a pediatrician. Maybe she’s better with neurotypical kids? I would say to anyone that suspects their kids have any sort of special needs that they go somewhere else. She snapped at my son for moving around, laying back instead of setting up on the exam table, picking up his phone a couple times, speaking when not spoken to, etc. It made me incredibly uncomfortable and obviously upset my son afterwards. That’s not how anyone should feel leaving the pediatrician’s office, intentional or not. He said he felt like he couldn’t make a movement without getting in trouble. I’m honestly just in shock. We will not be returning. It’s unfortunate because the front desk lady and the nurses are all awesome!
