Been going to this pharmacy for years and never had a bad experience. Always helpful in any way.

I feel like these people were paid to make these reviews because they are the fakest, most disrespectful pharmacy over ever dealt with. I was told 3 different dates for which my prescription could be refilled. The last time I called, I was told it would be ready on the 7th after being told previously it would ready on the day I called. Called back today, on the 7th to be told by the same guy that it would now be the 12th. The correct time for the medication to be out was the 7th and all I wanted was an explanation. This guy just didn't like my reaction to being lied to. Very unprofessional and obvious these people hate there job Everytime I go there. Unfortunately for me, it is the only pharmacy that I can go to with my insurance. There's been many times I considered just paying full price at another pharmacy just to receive a little respect and better customer service.

I love the staff at this pharmacy, I just hate that I have to come to this store in order to get to the pharmacy.. who again, the staff are amazing , professional and caring here... thus, they get five stars for the pharmacy and two stars for everything else.
It has been under construction for what feels like forever at this location, and apparently is still going to be under construction well into the spring...
They are clearly paying for this renovation and the renovations in all of the other stores, not out of profits that this company has generated but clearly in the markups on the food , which changed instantly overnight as soon as they started doing these renovations.
They are now on par with the prices that are being charged at publix and harris teeter, which removes them from being our favorite place to shop as a retired person.
We tolerated coming here and the dents in the car in the parking lot, the shots fired ( in another food lion location down the road ) and the ( multiple ) people you could watch shoplifting on a daily basis and the endless aroma of stale pot smoke , bo , dirty looks , attitude and often looking over your shoulder to make sure what was in your cart or car wasn't going to get stolen, because the prices were good for lower working class families, which is no longer the case.
All of which can now be avoided simply by generally going to either Harris Teeter or Publix, since you're going to be paying Harris Teeter and Publix prices anyway, and they don't seem to have the slew of particular problems that you have in Food Lion.
shop wisely friends

There is *always* an issue with this pharmacy. Whether they don't like the way the doctor words the prescription or they don't have the prescription in stock, etc. there is a wait every time and there have been times that I have waited the amount of time they say before getting up there and being told they can't fill one of my prescriptions for one reason or another. This most recent time, I called The Day Before to verify my pick up date and that there would be no issues. The Day Of, I called and told them I would be picking up and wanted to make sure it would be ready when I got there. They told me it wouldn't be ready for three and a half hours (12:30), so that is when I arrived. To be told I would have to wait because "they just started looking at it and needed time to get it together". If my insurance would allow it, I would not Ever get a prescription filled here again.

This is the BEST pharmacy. Not just because of the availability of pretty much any medication, but the staff. The Pharmacist, Karla, is fantastic. I have spoken to her three different times about my medications. Each time I need to speak to her, I merely hold up my hand, to let her know that there is no hurry, but she immediately stops what she’s doing and addresses whatever concerns I may have and she doesn’t do it as if she were some AI generated entity and I’m just a nobody, you can tell that she genuinely cares about your concerns. She doesn’t rush and she’s very concise and makes sure that you understand. I’m not the only one asking questions, she asks them too. I’m hoping that she never leaves this location, but if she did, I’d have to use the pharmacy that she moved to. She cares, and you know it during and after your visit. The whole staff is great and I apologize but I don’t know all of their names. Cheryl is great! She’s super friendly and always recognizes her regulars. She engages in conversation and is a very pleasant person to talk to. In all everything at this pharmacy, from my side of the counter, appears to run like a well oiled machine. When I have a prescription that needs a physicians approval to refill, they contact them for me and I usually have it within 24 hours. No wonder Harris Teeter doesn’t have a pharmacy here, they could not compete with these wonderful people.
