I don’t typically leave reviews. However, the way things are conducted here is questionable… When I called initially I was met with hostility by the front desk. I mentioned possibly signing up for an intro class with my friends because we are attempting to find a home studio that we all enjoy. The receptionist stated that “Intro classes are for individuals that want to join the membership” she then followed up that statement with “Are you interested in joining or is this just a chance to take a free class for you.” Flabbergasted by her interesting choice of words, I went on to state that “I am not sure if I would like to join the club, being that I have not taken a class yet…” We then proceed to schedule the class. Fast forward to nearly 3 hours later, my group is then told that we are being declined the intro class and we would need to schedule a group class for $250. While the price is not the issue, I do find it alarming that this “fee” was not initially mentioned. I will never attend this studio, nor will I recommend this studio to anyone.

A group of my friends and I wanted to try out the free intro class to possibly join. Mind you we can’t know if we’ll like it unless we try it out first. They offer a free intro class yet because it was several of us they want to charge $250 got a private studio. Why would we pay that if they offer a free intro class. The women on the phone kept emphasizing that the class is for those interested in joining the studio but how can we know that were interested if we have t tried it first free, an offer that they allow? Kind of doesn’t make sense.

The instructors and classes here are fantastic! They’re engaging and challenging, with an excellent teaching staff. I’ve found the management at the front desk to be less professional and not up to the same standard.

If I could give a zero then I would give them zero stars. The staff is very rude. The manager Kasey yelled at me for signing up for a level 2 class and insisted that I not take it because it was too advanced. I had to fight to use the benefit that I already paid for. They are argumentative when you bring up complaints. The membership is over sold. Almost every single class has a waitlist and they just expect you to wait on them and hope you get a class. After their staff yelled at me, which is considered abuse in 48 states, Alaska, and Hawaii and I chose to cancel my membership, they refused to waive $100 cancellation fee. Imagine that you have to pay them if you don’t want to be abused. I’m not offering any feedback on things they can do better because they would have to pay me for that. If you are looking at taking reformer Pilates. I would encourage you to go somewhere else. JetSet Pilates has an intro promotion $89 for 2 weeks of unlimited classes, and if you still want to go to Club Pilates Midtown Raleigh after that, just flush your money down the toilet, that would still be a better option.
