I had an amazing experience! Dr. Kelsey APPLEGATH was very kind and comforting. She answered any questions and concerns that I had and always keeps in touch to make sure everything is ok. I never have to worry about going in for any appointment or feeling rushed or not heard. I totally recommend this place, all the staff are very nice.

The doctors are great but before you reach them you have to go through front desk. Their billing representative tends the front desk and she is unprofessional, rude, and not empathetic. Due to her in a few other front desk representatives will be the reason I will never come back or recommend anyone else to this facility.

I've been going here for years. I normally see Dr. Son, who has always been professional. Today I saw Dr. Moody. I saw Dr. Moody once before so I didn't think anything of it when the patient portal automatically assigned me to meet with her for my annual this year. Beforehand I decided I wanted to bring up PCOS symptom management and explore possible endometriosis. Putting aside the fact that I was there for over an hour but only saw the doctor for maybe 10 minutes... As soon as Dr. Moody came into the room I felt oddly confronted. She said, "What do you want to talk to me about?" as soon as she sat down. I mentioned my concerns and wanting to explore anything other than the pill to manage symptoms. Immediately I was grilled as to what symptoms I have, how I shouldn't worry about not getting pregnant one day because I probably don't have "True PCOS," and that birth control is the only option for symptom management. Then as she's looking through my chart she sees I'm on Zoloft, leading her to mention that as a possible cause of any weight gain. Lastly, she abruptly told me my Mirena IUD has now been in for 8 years and "you need to get that out." I tried to ask follow up questions because I was curious or confused and each time I tried I was met with immediate pushback, dismissal, unrelated remarks, and qualifying statements like "I've been doing this a long time." As soon as she left the room I cried.
Later today I looked at my chart summary. It does not mention anything about the concerns I tried to bring up. It does say "Encouraged patient to lose weight with healthy diet and exercise..." Which was a surprise to me! She did not tell me to lose weight or inquire about my overall health habits. To see this statement in my health records is shocking and offensive. I will not be back here and will be talking to my therapist about this.

I love Dr Kelsey Applegath, she takes her time and never makes you feel rushed…the only downside was I had to wait an hour past my appointment…the wait time sucked but she did not make me feel like she was running late after she came in. The nurse did come in and apologize for the delay. I guess at the end of the day I’d rather have it that way than a 5 minute appointment where none of my concerns are met.
