  I HIGHLY recommend this office!!! All of the staff are TRULY WONDERFUL people and they TRULY care!!!! My daughter and I both love everyone here!!! Dr. Madrid actually took the time to listen to me, explain things to me in detail and check my child from head to toe!!!! This place gets 10 stars from me!!!!

  My husband and I both called the office today to see if we can get our daughters records transferred. We understand how the process works but whoever is working at reception today September 12 is extremely rude. When I called earlier to get her records transferred I got a very short answer and I felt that I was such an inconvenience to this person. I said goodbye and thank you and immediately called my husband to see if he can call them back to get more information about what we are supposed to do because I did not understand what she was trying to explain to me. My husband called not even two minutes later he texted me saying how rude The woman was that spoke to him. We have had a problem with his office when our daughter had to go get treatment at the hospital where we were told she would be taken care of and when we got to the hospital it was not at all what we were told. They can definitely work on their reception and how to speak to patients over the phone. I understand everyone has a bad day but being nice for five minutes goes along way.

  THEY LOST ALL MY CHILD'S RECORDS SINCE THE TIME SHE WAS BORN - their response? Even worse? Standard reply "call us to make this right"in an anonymous email response. I did that a year ago and no one helped me. If you wanted to make this right, you would have found her records, entered them into the system and personally called me saying you had rectified your mistake. Rather than me sending a copy I happened to have in my child's kindergarten file to our new family practice. I am so upset with this practice, I tried to give them no stars. I do not usually write reviews but I think this goes beyond bad service. Last year, I took my daughter on her first mission trip so we began the process of making sure her immunizations were up to date. We had not been to Harborside Peds since January of 2009 as we had started seeing a family practice. I was advised by this practice that none of my daughter's information from Harborside Peds had been entered in the universal computer system, so they had none of her records of immunizations from birth. I spoke with someone last summer at the Harborside office who informed me that they used to only keep paper records and no one had entered her information in the system. They would have to send for her file and paper records. I sent in an authorization to have this done on 7/9/18, only to be told this morning that no records were ever sent and that Novant Health has no record of my daughter being seen. I luckily found a paper copy in my daughter's kindergarten records, Harborside's address in the top corner, so I hope this will suffice in the future when needed. I wonder how many other patients have been effected like this? Some may not even realize this and will have a rude awakening when they try to send their kids to college. We were patients from June 2003-January 2009. Parents who took their kids here during that time may need to check into this. I am sorry to call you out but Dr. Rinker, but you are a mom, medical records are important. Especially when it is time to send your kids to college. Do you think this is acceptable? No one ever followed up, tried to make this right or even acted as if it were a problem.
