- MDMilt DachieApr 4, 20242.0Betty Werner- Bought my hearing aids in September they created sores and are very uncomfortable I even lost a pair because I take them out all the time. I went back on Amazon and bought another pair of Sonys there updated CRE 10 is self fitting and have a charge life of 24 hours. Not sure why a company this size would not have self fitting. Also the charge on my debit card for 2800. The first time then another charge 1000 something in Feb also did not come in as miracle ear called my bank and they told me. I have nerve damage to my left ear and can barely hear from this ear without some form of amplification. I have purchased other hearing aids and also the cheap amplifiers from the internet, but was never was satisfied with the results. .At the urging of my wife, who was frustrated with my constant asking “what did you say” I sought a local hearing professional and was fortunate to locate Miracle Ear in Monroe, NC and obtained an appointment. The free hearing test was very consistent with what I knew to be true regarding what sounds I could and could not hear. I reviewed the several Miracle Ear aids options suggested by the specialist and made a choice. The hearing aids arrived within several days. The specialist preformed the final tuning necessary to balance my hearing between both ears. The aids are comfortable and I can wear then all my awake hours with complete comfort. I hear sounds and voices that I had not heard for many years. I almost never ask someone to repeat what they just said. I can watch TV with my family without raising the volume to my previous need. The sound quality of the aids is far superior to my expectations. I can control the aids, both right and left from my IPhone using the Miracle Ear app. I take my phone calls directly to the hearing aids via the Bluetooth connection. Another feature that has me impressed is the feedback control – I have literally not had one instance of squeal - this was a big concern with my previous aids. In addition to being impressed by the aids, I am equally impressed with the service after the sale. I receive immediate attention to any questions or concerns I might have. If you are struggling with hearing issues, I would suggest that you do not make a commitment to purchase any hearing aid without consulting with Miracle Ear.
