  I understand why I see such a low star rating at this facility. My daughter was supposed to have an appointment today but however somebody called to reschedule disappointment at the end of February. It had already been rescheduled one time before with the same person. Today she called because nobody had called her to reschedule the appointment to replace the one she was supposed to have on March the 2nd. When she called she found out it had been put off to the 24th of March. No one contacting her to see if this was even possible. She really does need to be seen but I am not even hopeful that the appointment on the 24th will happen. The communications at this facility is not good. Someone at novant needs to really oversee this office.

  My provider, Sonal Patel, ended my appointment before the scheduled 30 minutes were completed, stating she had another patient waiting. During the visit, I did not feel my concerns were fully heard, especially regarding finding a daily medication option that felt safe for me given past severe side effects. I felt pressured toward medications I was not comfortable taking, and when I declined, the appointment was ended without exploring alternatives or providing a clear treatment plan. Mental health care requires listening, collaboration, and respect for patient concerns. Unfortunately, I left the appointment without resolution or support and would not feel comfortable recommending this provider based on my experience.

  I’ve been seeing a psychiatrist here for years and I absolutely love her! I use virtual appointments and she is on time, listens, never rushes, always asks questions, and makes sure that all of my medications are sent for refills before the appointment is over. She is very personable and I have never felt like my voice was not listened to or not taken into consideration. Thank you Ivy Ziccarelli!

  I am so angry with the person answering the phones at the Matthews location I don't know what part of calling for HELP she does not understand! Don't tell me what you can't do find someone who can I have never made such an unhelpful call for my child in all of my life! If i could have reached through the phone I would have choked this lady her lack of concern was so frustrating as a parent I would NEVER recommend this location to anyone. She might as well just out right told me she doesn't give a whoot what my problem is....Thank you for NOTHING!
