  I no longer go to this Harris Teeter (HT) pharmacy in Matthews due to the multiple issues I have encountered at this place. My prescriptions are often not ready when promised, similar to another review I just read below. I have learned at pick up time that there wasn’t enough medication at the time with no warning. The pharmacist’s have a terrible track record of passing along information to each other (Gia and Alissa). They always have food in their mouths and Linda has to be the laziest Pharmacy Technician in the business. She still doesn’t know how to work the computers after years and is rude. My doctor called in medication but Linda told me it wasn’t there. I called another HT pharmacy, while waiting for Linda to find my medication. The other Harris Teeter pharmacy told me they saw my medication at this HT Matthews pharmacy and Linda said it was impossible. I then called a second HT pharmacy and was told my medication was at the HT Matthews location. 30 minutes had gone by and I was out of this medication. Linda looked at me with food in her mouth and said, “Do you want me to download your profile? It’s going to take a while?” Do I really say, “Don’t bother, I’ll just leave without my medication you can’t find?” I said, “Yes, Linda, please download my profile, I need my medication today and 2 other HT pharmacies can see that it’s in your store”. She said, “Look, it’s not here, we are busy, can you come back later?”. I didn’t see anyone waiting at the time she said this. I left the store, went to another HT pharmacy and had them pull the prescription and got it filled an hour and a half later. There are some very good HT pharmacies in the area with proficient, professional, polite people that do a much better job than this HT Matthews Festival location. Its easy for another store to pull and fill your medications in an accurate, timely manner, without errors, food crumbs falling out of their mouths on the counters where they count the medications you swallow. It’s just a shame.

  Used to be so much better. The last 3 visits we have questioned the prices of our meds at the drive thru. Each time they were reduced (a lot). Why isn’t this done to begin with? Called Thursday ( around noon)about a refill order that was sent in the same morning. Was told that it was not filled yet. No worries. Informed her that I would pick up today ( Friday). Hit the drive thru around 1.30. Prescription was not ready or filled yet. Then was informed that they only had about 1/4 of the dosage. Also questioned the price for the 1/4.Went from near $16.00 to $5.00. Time change pharmacy. No response or only responding to good reviews is not acceptable.

  Great people, they take their time to make sure you receive the care you need. Just be patient and treat with kindness.
