The office charged $1,455 for a small custom thermoplastic splint without informing me of the cost beforehand or given any estimate. While the treatment itself was professional, the lack of price transparency is concerning, especially for a charge of this size. In addition, the amount appears significantly higher than typical charges for similar splints. Patients should be clearly informed and give consent before incurring significant expenses. I have formally requested a review of this charge and escalated the matter to the NC Board of Occupational Therapy for further evaluation.

I had PT after my total knee replacement Feb 3, 2026. I could not have asked for more professional therapist who both pushed me without overdoing it, and I am farther along because they were so good. I cannot be more pleased with my PT.

Therapists are all very nice and helpful, but scheduling has been totally mismanaged. I’ve only been coming for a little over a month and have seen 5 different therapists at wildly different times because of what I would perceive as overbooking and poor planning. This has made continuity and structure in my recovery tough to come by, and the scheduling team seems to not have nearly as much respect for my time as they expect for theirs. Facilities are also dated, I have been to 4 different facilities now for different surgeries related to ACL + meniscus recovery, and this one seems the least prepared for this kind of issue

The office staff that answers thr phone is rude. Unprofessional and unethical. I needed a 3,-4 day Expedited urgent doctor ordered appointment and the phone person was rude, unemapthetic ro my situation. And unresponsive to my plea for anything before dec 18th. Especially since when appt was made it was already past the 5 day dr.ordered appointment and treatment . I called back and was given the option to not loose my place in line and have a call back . I did and no return call. My insurance co called as an advocate to see if she could hel0 me. On a 3 way call, I heard her be placed on hold over and over for 45 minutes until finally back to the original ride person and come to find out the reason she's is not following my doctor's orders or returning my call and mean to me from the start. She told my insurance advocate that I am the reason is because I am " always a no call no show...the advocate asked if she could verify mi info to be sure she is talking about the right person. Me... and she verified it was me and that's why
Then she placed the ins advocate on hold again briefly for the last time after 45 mins of holding. Transfers and unprofessional rudeness. She came back on the line at 4:45 and said "hello"....? Hello? And pretended as though she suddenly couldn't hear the ins person and hung up this was dec 1 2025. Today is end of Tuesday the 26th and nothing from her
No return call to me per request or follow up since she pretends disconnected. She is well aware that it's past my doctor's orders. And doesn't even have enough common sense decency to call a patient desperately, waiting for help 6 weeks after I was injured.I'm still not able to perform activities of daily living by myself. A second opinion by baptist hospital , as well as baptist imaging , has informed that waiting would do more damage than good and could possibly not heal properly at my age. Especially because my right arm is shattered.My left elbow is imperative to work correctly. This is unethical and inhumane. If there was another alternative , I would never go anywhere I am treated that poorly by the phone staff.

I called here today and the receptionist was very rude. Even though I was talking nicely and calling her ma'am she had the guts to accuse me of having an attitude and when I said it been a long day so I totally understand she said maybe for you but not me. And then she hung up on me. These calls are recorded and I really hope this office goes and listens to the recordings and fires her. How dare her treat and talk to someone the way she did me today. She deserves to be fired.
