My child was seen by Dr. Colt for the first time about 2 weeks ago. As soon as she walks in the room she look at my daughter and says hey who are these fools. She then said is this your brother… my daughter replied yes, she then says yea he looks like a fool. I’m sitting there in disbelief with a nervous laugh because I’m thinking am I being pranked. Me and my children have never been so disrespected in my life. Then Dr. Colt has the nerve to say well if you don’t ever want to come back I understand some people don’t know how to take a joke. I will never go back to that Drs office.
Never have I ever had a bad experience with any of the care team at this office! Our family goes here for all health care needs. Drs aren’t afraid to seek advice from other professionals when needed. Will see that you get the care you need!

my partner works for a chemical and paper distributor and was making a delivery to this establishment. he’s been to this establishment several times prior and has never had any issues. however, today when he went to make a delivery, upon walking in the same door he’s walked in before, a woman told him he was walking in the wrong door. she told him to follow her and as he’s following her, she’s making snide comments to him about him making her do things she didn’t want to do, she announced five times to the rest of the staff that he went through the wrong door, and every staff member my partner looked at was giving him very nasty looks. upon hearing this information i immediately thought this behavior was unwarranted and unacceptable seeing as my partner was doing the same thing he’s done multiple times before. it’s a shame hearing that people that work in a health center would treat someone so poorly who is simply doing them a service.

This review is in response to the negative one left about some lady lifting her child through the window. That lady would be me! You see, my child has been coming to the office since he was born! We continue to come to this office because they treat my child like a member of their own family. My child is loved and safe while I am there. If I have to have labs, he's in the front office with those same ladies you claimed to be "unprofessional". It's not easy to be a mom and not have anyone to watch your children for you, so I have to take mine with me! See, what you failed to realized, is my son is adopted. It was a day of celebration for us. We were able to come in and change his last name officially! I understand the frustration of going to a new place and having to fill out so much paperwork. However, all of this is so thay they are better able to take care of you and treat you effectively. There will be wait times anywhere you go! Never question God's timing. Maybe the patient before you was contemplating suicide...maybe they just lost a loved one and the doctor was being professional and caring and tending to them properly. Things happen. I'll pray for you and hope you don't take life so serious because youre gonna be a miserable soul if so! I hope you find peace and love! Sincerely, a grateful and thankful momma to those ladies in that office!
I gave it a 3 because i do believe she means well just doesn't have the great support and probably overwhelmed with overload of appointments
I’m not sure why this clinic schedules appointments the way they do. I arrived 10 minutes early for my 8:00 AM appointment and was called in on time, but Dr. Colt didn’t arrive until 8:18 AM—just as I was about to go back to the front desk and ask why I had been scheduled so early if the doctor wasn’t available. When I voiced my concern, she responded with, "I'm here now, I'm doing the best I can." I want to be clear: I wasn’t blaming her, but rather questioning the scheduling system that seems to overload her.
Because I had to leave by 9:00 AM and we spent time discussing other issues, I wasn’t able to complete my lab tests. I regret bringing up personal medical questions during this visit, as I felt rushed and not fully heard. One issue that really stood out was how she approached the topic of vaccines. I’m not vaccinated, and she listed several vaccines that she said I "need to get or else I could die." I’ve never had a doctor present things in such an alarming, fear-based way.
When I expressed hesitation, she said, "You’re an adult, I’m not going to tell you what to do," which came off as dismissive. I like to research and make informed decisions about my health, and I didn’t feel that openness was encouraged here.
While I do believe Dr. Colt means well, her communication style felt rushed, defensive, and at times, patronizing. It gave me the impression that she’s either overwhelmed or not comfortable at this location. Unfortunately, I won’t be seeing her again. I hope she gets the support or training she may need to better engage with patients respectfully and thoughtfully.
If you value open dialogue with your healthcare provider and time to ask questions, you may want to be cautious when booking here.
