  Dr. Barracus is an excellent doctor and I would recommend him no matter your age. Dr. Appointments are very pleasant.

  The staff is always rude. They can not follow up with insurance pre-authorization. They will not call you if there is a problem. They will not acceptable responsibility, even after stating they are taking ownership of the problem. It’s just circus to be honest and they do not care. We can not express into words how insulting and awful the service is here. Do not trust the health of your family with these people. You have been warned.

  I am new to the area and my 3 year old son was sick. Huntersville Pediatrics and Internal medicine had good reviews so I called to make an appointment. The patient service coordinator said I would need to schedule his next well visit for him to be seen with them, that was no problem. The doctor seemed good, I took my son on Friday and he said he was fighting a virus. On Monday my son said his ear hurt so I had to take him back, he had an ear infection that either developed over the weekend or was missed. I got my first bill and it was $213. I thought this was very high for a sick visit so I called other pediatricians in the area, the average sick visit is $65 without insurance (I have insurance)! I called to discuss the bill and was referred to a different phone number. The lady I spoke with said the high charge was due to being a new patient that the next bill would not be so high. I asked what the other bill was for his second visit, she was very rude and was not listening. She kept telling me there is no way for her to know. When I finally got her to stop talking and listen again that he was seen again a month ago and I need to know what the bill was she transferred me to another person. That was the incorrect department so I was transferred yet again. After being on hold for 10 minutes I was informed the second bill is going to be $200 as well. So the information I was given was not correct and in comparison to other pediatricians this is extremely high. At this point it isn't even about the money the experience trying to discuss the bill with someone was a disaster. I will try a smaller pediatrician's office. This was a terrible experience, I will not take my son back.
