  We have been going to Carolina Family Practice for years. The doctors and staff are extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and helpful. We always know we’re in good hands with CFPSM!

  The doctor was not good and was clearly rushing through the appointment, so much so that I did not get everything I went there for addressed. The follow up is non-existent both from the doctor and appointment side to the billing side. The pricing is absurd and offfensive, I could make a mortgage payment for what they charged me for a half-assed 20 minute office visit.

  DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU NEED ANYTHING MORE THAN BLOODWORK AND A YEARLY PHYSICAL (you need a PCP that can do more than this unless you can somehow predict you’ll never get even slight sick). I used to see a provider at the north raleigh location. Called for a sick visit and was told it would be a year. I was able to see someone a few months later (called and got an appointment that week - must’ve been bad front desk staff) and the provider I saw told me to go to the ER. Finally switched to a different practice (cary/raleigh medical group) and my new doctor immediately identified the issue. She said the issue (although treatable) can cause long term fertility issues and I let it brew for A YEAR. Cary medical group also referred me to a specialist for a follow up to make sure evening is good. They have Saturday hours for acute issues and have gotten me in within a day since I’ve been going there (only 2 weeks and I’m very impressed). From what I can tell Cary/(Raleigh) Medical Group sees many more patients and is much more successful. Still enraged about the sick visit in a year response and the complete lack of consideration of my concerns/lack of willingness to trouble shoot from the female doctor I saw as a female patient. If your doctor doesn’t want to help you get to the bottom of things yourself or refer you to a specialist, RUN!!! Cary/Raleigh medical group has been practicing for over 50 years and even their website says their approach is patient based, and it is. My new doctor spent 2 hours with me AND we figured it out. I hope I can have children, and if not there’s no doubt my resentment toward this group of practices will only grow. CAROLINA FAMILY PRACTICE AND SPORTS MEDICINE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT HELPING YOU WHEN YOU NEED IT, THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY.

  The staff are all very nice and helpful. Dr. Chitanand has always been kind and efficient. Whenever I go for an appointment I feel well taken care of. My medical needs are always met quickly and effectively.
