I have been coming to Triangle Visions for five years and have always had a wonderful experience. Today I saw Dr. Marshall. I also interacted with Lauren And Tanner and continue to find them competent, kind, friendly, and patient focused. Thank you!

TL;DR:
A lot of these bad reviews get emotional but I have tried to stick to facts. These three facts are indisputable:
1) This business botched one of their most basic services.
2) Their rep did not apologize or even really seem to care.
3) Their rep did not even consider giving me even a partial refund.
Whether or not readers of this review consider those facts worthy of 1 star, I'll leave for them to decide.
FULL DETAILS:
I stopped in here to get new lenses in my own frames. I came in to pick up my glasses a couple weeks later and the prescription was not right -- the lenses were blurry and unwearable. The guy checked them and said they had "mixed up some numbers" and would need to re-do them.
So okay, that's the first time that's ever happened to me in a quarter century (in multiple countries) of getting glasses -- I wasn't even aware that was a thing that happened. If that were all, despite it being unacceptable (you literally have one job) I woulda simply never gone back and left it there.
The main irritating part of this was his attitude when he admitted the mistake. He didn't even apologize, just said, "You're right, we mixed up some numbers," and acted like it was no big deal that I would have to wait twice as long with my scratched-up backup glasses before I was able to wear my new ones. And this when he knew I had another pair of glasses (my scratched ones) that I was prepared at that moment to get new lenses for.
I still wasn't going to leave a negative review. I try to give folks the benefit of the doubt and there could be any number of explanations for our unsatisfactory interaction. I decided I'd simply ask for at least a partial refund when I picked up the glasses, and give them a chance to rectify their mistake.
When I picked up my corrected glasses, the same guy made no mention of the mistake, no apology or anything. When I requested a partial refund he did not even consider it, just said it's their policy not to. I could have pressed the issue and tried to talk to a manager, but honestly the money's not even the point, and I feel like giving them two chances to appropriately handle a mistake is plenty charitable.
