  I have been going to this pharmacy for many years now. They have had some changes in staffing and that is understandable new people different ways. I waited yesterday to pick up a RX and I was looked at and everyone went back to work. A woman walked up looked at me then proceeded to pound the counter and cut in front of me to ask about a flu vaccine. All employees saw me put proceeded to help this person who then brought politics into the question. That then turned into to the women who was working there cackle and think everything she said was funny. I work in healthcare and if this every happened in our office it would of not been tolerated. Religion and politics should stay out of the work place we are here to do a job! The only person that actually acknowledged me was the Pharmacist which he was new. I thanked him but the older woman with long gray hair was rude and I was a problem since I needed help. This makes me want to switch but who wants to go to a big chain pharmacy not me.

  I was having trouble finding a pharmacy with my medication in stock, and had called Harris Teeter's pharmacy, who happened to have it in stock! My doctor sent the prescription to them. A few hours later, I called them back just to verify they had received it and it was in progress. I then had some grocery shopping to do anyway, so when I was done I stopped by the pharmacy. First, they told me they never received it. I called my doctor, and she said they confirmed receiving it - she calls the pharmacy, they tell her they "overlooked it" and will fill it then. Then, I show up to pickup my medication, and the pharmacist tells me she is "uncomfortable filling it." I was polite as it's controlled and I understand the hesitation and told her my doctor can call her and verify if she would like. She replied saying if she could speak to my doctor, she would fill it. My doctor proceeds to call her, and gets nowhere with it - she still refuses to fill the medication and is rude to my provider over the phone. My provider informed her they were only pharmacy in the area who had the medication in stock, and I had nowhere else to transfer it to. She told my provider it was not her problem and she will not be filling it. She also flagged my patient profile in retaliation. As someone who has been on the same medication since 2016 and using Kroger pharmacies nearly the entire time, they've lost my business. Beware if you are prescribed medications that are controlled.

  Don and his team are the best in town! They always go the extra mile for me and my family, down to letting my 3 year old choose the flavor of her medicine. They are like family and I am so grateful that they are at my neighborhood Harris Teeter!

  I’ve been coming here more years than I can count. The pharmacy manager & his team are the best I’ve ever encountered! Never an issue & so easy to work with and ask excellent questions & get accurate answers on any medications. My husband & I are so satisfied even though I don’t work near this location anymore I go the extra miles for this pharmacy’s extraordinary excellence! My fave pharmacy technicians are Braxton & Jill.
