  I just want to say thank you to Jackie Blankenship, Loraine Moser, and the front desk staff at the Physical Therapy OrthoCarolina Clinic in Hickory. They have created such a wonderful, truly positive environment that really helped me when going through all of my physical therapy sessions. Jackie is so compassionate and understanding. She truly listens, and you can tell she really cares about her clients. She’s also motivational, positive, and encouraging, and she’s an excellent people-person (even as an introvert, I always felt comfortable). This helps not just with physical healing but also assists with the mental and emotional process of adjusting to a new way of life. The staff at the front desk are super friendly, fun, uplifting, and it was always easy to talk to them about getting work notes and scheduling future appointments without ever feeling rushed. You will be treated with not only professionalism and respect, but with Kindness — and that’s what really stood out to me and made me feel the need to share this review of my experience with others. [Disclaimer, lol: The physical therapy clinic is the Complete Opposite of the Horrendous mess of the actual Ortho office next door, so this review absolutely Does Not pertain to them, unfortunately.]

  Arrived today to check my mother in for her appointment. Got to the 2nd floor there were 4 ladies at the check out check in desk and a male was standing in there carrying on a conversation with the ladies and instead of checking my mother in they carried on their conversation like it was rude of us to even try to check in while the were talking

  I have been engaged in PT for a couple months and the staff have been wonderful! Todd and Stacy really have worked hard on strengthening my legs and improving my balance. They are so motivating and positive all the time and with a good sense of humor! The staff doing the scheduling, etc likewise are great and have been very accommodating. As I wait for my appointment each time, I am struck by the fact that each person who comes to get his/her patient always has a smile and a welcoming greeting. I would certainly recommend this group to anyone in need of PT!

  My husband had a session with Veronica. She was very rude. He attempted to ask a question about which is better for arthritis, ibuprofen or aspirin, she cut him off without even listening. If people do not like their jobs working with people, they should find another profession.
