Last Friday I was on my way to visit my son in Boone, NC. for the weekend. Upon my travels my earpiece fell off my new glasses I purchased from a local Atlanta store. I called the store and spoke to Kimberly about my unfortunate situation. She not only looked up my purchase but ensured she had another matching set of frames in her store and held them for me. I arrived at the location around 11:30am and was greeted upon entry by Kimberly. She immediately took my broken frames and came back momentarily later with my new pair and checking the adjustment on my face. She saved my trip and to say the experience with Kimberly was awesome would be a huge understatement. In this day and age customer service lacks and helping an out of state customer is definitely unheard of. I sincerely suggest this LensCrafters location over any in the state of Georgia where I live and moving forward I will take the 4 hour drive to purchase my eye exams and glasses from the Hickory, NC location. Kimberly and LensCrafters, Valley Hill Mall location has gained a customer for life. Thank You!

I went in to pickup my new glasses! The young young lady, that was helping me, found a small scratch on one of the lenses! She apologized and ordered me a new lens! The staff are really great!

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
