  Comfort Keepers in Hickory do an outstanding job of taking care of my mom. My mother and I could not be happier with the services they provide. She is bed ridden and they take great care of her. If not for these wonderful ladies my mother would be in nursing home. God bless them all.

  Mom was supposed to get 4 hours in morning and 4 hours at night. She is not getting the care the government grant is paying for nor the supplies, like depends. She asked for a specific caregiver to come morning and night and they purposely cancelled and changed around schedules so she could not. The lady that went this morning was supposed to be there till 10am and someone else was to come in from 10 to 12. I just got off the phone with mom and the lady left at 9:30 and left mom alone. I am sitting with husband in chemo and can't be 2 places at the same time. I will be contacting the grant department regarding everything and find out where the money is actually going. Very disappointed with Comfort Keeper's, however most of the girls that come out have been very good to mom.

  There was no "Comfort" in hiring Comfort Keepers. We had hired Comfort Keepers to help with my father-in-law. Staffing assignments are VERY disorganized. We were not sure who and when help was coming. There were a couple of times when we had to call the office to see if anyone was even coming out for a visit, even though we had them scheduled and contracted them for a certain amount of days and times. On the positive side, when staff did show up, they provided good care. We hired this company to take stress off of us from caregiving, but it added stress to our lives. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

  The office staff and aides from the Hickory office are great! They always try to go above and beyond meet our needs and seem like they really care about the clients!
