  I have Common Variable Immunodeficiency, which is a type of Primary Immunodeficiency. I had a follow-up here on December 29th and told them the prior authorization for my SubQ IgG needed to be renewed. About two weeks later I called them and reminded them that the prior authorization needed to be renewed and that I was out of IgG. I have now been out of IgG for weeks during Flu and Covid season. I called my insurance company last week to ask what the hold up is, and it turns out this clinic has submitted nothing to renew the Prior Auth. I am a Nurse Practitioner who has done her own Prior Auths for years, so I happen to know a renewal usually takes about 10 minutes or less. I called the clinic manager last week and left a message and have heard nothing back. This is neglect, plain and simple. I had to go to my new Primary care so that they can try to get the medicine approved again. If you are understaffed, fix it!
