Maybe they have good doctors, but this office is CUT THROAT.
A couple of years ago I had an ulcer and was potentially losing my sight, the bed side manor of the doctor (tall blonde lady) was absolutely dry and borderline rude, I never said anything because I did get treatment and didn't lose my eye from the ulcer.
But today I call because I'm experiencing similar symptoms that lead to my ulcer last time, so I call to make an appointment, in which they tell me I can't come back because of a past due bill, I'm a turned over patient.
The bill in question is a $300 bill I could never pay because of some employment struggles I've been facing for the past few years, there's been times I thought I could be homeless........and so yes I chose food over a medical bill.....sue me.
The woman on the phone was nice, checked with billing. However she said they were firm, even if I paid the bill I likely wouldn't be allowed to return.
That is absolutely disgusting and disgraceful. I don't care about what your policies say, if you are able to provide care and a longstanding patient needs help, you suck up a $300 bill and you help them......it's just gross. And sad, I really wanted to like this office.
To the woman on the phone, you were lovely. But to the people running this office, I don't care what you have to say, I don't care what you think, this isn't up for discussion.....it's simple. People over profits, the proper care should be accessible for all people no matter their financial status. Im ashamed of you guys, truly.
But I guess whatever right? I don't get the care I need, my life could be forever altered, and it's all my fault.......cause $300.....get so real.
