I went in today, looking to buy some glasses. No one came up to me, so I went up and asked for help. They told me to take a seat waited like 20 minutes while other customers were attended that just walked in. I don’t know if it was because I was Mexican but I just left.

Globally good eye doctor and eye wear selection but very poor management of their customers AFTER the snow storm of Sunday January 25, 2026: on Monday 26th even though the roads in Greensboro (within the I840 loop city limits) were already cleared, the shop was closed and Lenscrafter didn't even think of putting in place something as simple and basic as an emergency phone service to orient their customers ! Tuesday 27th in the morning they were closed AGAIN: during the 5 mn I was in the front of the shop (needing service to my glasses) 4 cars showed up of customers needing delivery of their new pair of glasses or eye glasses repair like I did, including another customer that had first tried to get information over the phone, in vain, before driving to the store. Lenscrafters, this is unacceptable.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
