- NRNini_ RoseNov 10, 20251.0Avoid this Planet Fitness location! There’s a revolving door of employees, and the gym itself is often dirty. Paper towels are rarely restocked — only the morning employee used to keep up with it, but now he’s gone, and the new staff doesn’t seem to care. Today I got a call from Valerie, who claimed my payment card couldn’t stay on file and that they needed my bank account number and routing number — over the phone. When I said I wasn’t comfortable giving that out, she hung up and cancelled my membership immediately. When I checked the app, my account was already deactivated. I called back to speak with a manager and was told that Beth, the manager, can only be reached by filing a formal complaint. The assistant manager tried to help, but said she couldn’t reinstate my account without that same banking information. When I called another Planet Fitness to verify, they said they are not allowed to cancel memberships or request billing info over the phone. This location is calling it a “pilot program,” but it feels like a scam. I do not recommend this gym — poor cleanliness, unprofessional staff, and shady billing practices.

I know you’re still trying to find someone to take his place but I just wanted to let you know that he is missed
