  I sliced my left index finger on a mandolin Slicer. I rushed myself too AFC urgent care in Gastonia for immediate attention. The front desk representative noticed the bleeding on my hand and took me to the back immediately. The urgent care provider was professional, polite, and thorough. She was able to glue the wound together and provide me with some protected gear for my finger along with precise instructions on how to care for my finger for the next five days. I have attended AFC urgent care facility twice before and each and every time the service is impeccable. Keep up the great work, AFC URGENT CARE 🙌🏽

  My experience here was amazing. My PA, Layne Hammond, was extremely helpful, thorough, knowledgeable and professional as well as the assistant nurse who took my vitals. Mrs. Hammond assisted me with my issue and treatment plan and followed up to make sure I was effectively cared for. Highly recommend.

  Me and my wife are repeat patients at AFC. Every time that we have gone there it was always great. Even on time my wife went it an extreme migraine and they didn’t have the appropriate shot to give her they were honest and upfront and said they couldn’t help us and even gave our copay back. That’s respect and service right there. But today, today I was very disappointed. My wife has terrible abdominal pain and we think it may be some sort of constipation because her abdomen is extremely hard to the touch and nothing is coming out. She’s at a 7 out of 10 in the pain scale and the doctor, who just seemed like she rushed everything and was in a hurry, used her stethoscope to listen for a few secs and recommended the ER for a CAT scan. She’s said we could get some X-rays but nothing else that could be done. And that was it… thank you and have a nice day. I may be wrong, but it was just very disappointing.

  I went a Monday Evening around 6:30 not knowing they Close at 730-8pm, but they took all insurance information, my $50 Copay and eventually put me in a room to see a Doctor! However after sitting there for almost a hour came in and told me they were unable to see me they were closing and would refund my money! And if I still felt I needed to see a doctor to go to ER at hospital. First of All if they were so behind they should had informed me to go on to another urgent care or hospital from the start or stayed open Until they saw the Last Patients they had took Money From Already, that is just Bad Business and Unfair to the Patient who Spent the Time and Money to Go There!! They I'm sure experience a Surge in Patients Near Closing Time at Nighttime Quite Often to had known How Many they Could Treat in that Period of Time! And the Fact that the CoPay was Paid Upfront and Insurance billed Before I was Even Seen and then Refusing to See Me Cause they Want to Go Home, Not knowing if My Condition Could Had Been Serious or Not, Making Me Wait while Suffering in Pain just to Tell Me I was Going to Have to Go Somewhere Else Now and Wait in pain for Longer was Heart Breaking to say the Least and extremely pissed me off causing my Blood Pressure to go Up even More which was Careless and Dangerous for me to even leave there at that time and I'm sure other patients that they have did this to were in same situatio. Secondly it has been five days now and Money has still Not Been Refunded causing me to have to Go to the Facility to speak to someone about getting it refunded and taken off my insurance companies bill!! Third Since they Failed to See me that evening I ended up going to Hospital ER which though they were extremely nice, very quick and very thorough has cost me at least Three Times the Amount of Money for going there! Finally I'm starting to feel little better and regret even going to Urgent Care to Start With instead of Just Waiting Longer to see if Pain would Go Away on its On, unfortunately I will probably hesitate on going next time and it could put my health at total Risk but I'd Assume just Keep my Money and Chance it than Take a Chance on a Urgent Care taking My Money then Making a Medical Call on my Health Care Because Someone Wants to Walk Out the Door The Minute it's Closing Time. These Places Should Be 24 Hours a Day or Just Be Consider a Plain old doctor office , cause Nothing about it was Urgent!!!!
