I visited Lenscrafters at Cross Creek mall for sudden eye pain and received great care within an hour as a walk-in on a Saturday morning! No other place in town would see me but them. I went back for a contacts exam with Dr. Downing. She was able to put me in contacts the same day. For the first time in decades, I can see great, thanks to her. No one else has ever been able to do this for me. She's amazing!

Great service, don’t change a thing. Got contacts and prescription for glasses. Everyone was so friendly, and the whole process was amazingly quick. Their equipment is top notch and managed to get me correct sizing on the first try.

The staff at The Eye Center from Dr. Engle to front desk, to technicians- especially Justin are all wonderful. Today, Justin helped me to put in my very first pair of contacts ever, checked to make sure the prescription was as it should be, and provided education explaining the care, use, and adjustment period (even going into the pathophysiology of how the brain adaptation occurs). Impressive, I must say! I was apprehensive due to having very sensitive eyes, and am pleasantly surprised how comfortable my contacts are. He was super friendly, professional im every aspect, and made the process quite simple. I highly recommend all the staff at Dr. Engle's office from top down. Justin should get an award for his high quality customer care.

Walked in with an eye injury. Of course DR Balch and his team are amazing and responsive taking such good care of me and ruling out any major issues allowing me to relax finally But Gabby was the star of the show at the front desk when I walked in fully in panic mode she was kind, responsive and assured every step of the way. This is the reason I have been a patient of Eye Care Center for many years for routine care but they went above and beyond today! Gabby you are AMAZING!

I saw so impressed with the level of quality I received. From check in, to the lady that did my consult. Mr. Miller was so nice and very attentive to my needs. Jacob @ LensCrafters was exceptionally helpful. He was able to provide me with a detailed explanation of what was better fitting for me. I look forward to getting my new glasses. I’m a forever fan of Eye Center & LensCrafters.
Frequently Asked Questions About The Eye Center Fayetteville
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What is involved in an eye exam?
An eye exam involves a series of simple but comprehensive tests that allow your optometrist to assess your vision and your eye health. Your optometrist will discuss the results of your eye exam with you and determine the right prescription to help you to see your best.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
