They cancelled my first appointment without even contacting me. I’d recommend going somewhere else. I would like to thank them for taking me away from my job and wasting my time though.

There r not enough stars in the universe to rate this counseling service and Cynthia Harris's professionalism, understanding and empathy. My journey has been long but Ms. Harris has been with me every step of the way. She has been been with me through the dark thoughts and has me to push them to the back of my mind. From day one there has been honest and open communication. Ms. Harris style helps one make their own choices through picking up on what is said, listening to what is unsaid and gentle probing. There r miles left to travel on this journey that Ms. Harris and i have begun but i know that she will be with me every step of the way because she cares deeply about her clients. I would recommend Ms. Harris and the service to all who need counseling, Terri, the receptionist, as well as the other therapists who work there r like family, Thank God for New Day Counseling and Cynthia Harris.

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Ms. Cynthia Harris spends too much time with small talk and not getting to the point. I didn't see any progress for marital counseling whatsoever, it seems like she is just there for the gossip. I went in for a session with my wife one day and Ms. Cynthia Harris could see that my wife and I were in a heavy debate/argument in her office, and the best thing that Ms. Harris could tell my wife and I towards the end of our session was "alright your time is about up, you guys go home and figure this thing out." I thank God that my wife and I eventually figured things out on our own without Cynthia Harris. The front desk receptionist "Terri" has a bad habit of calling to say that she had to move my appointments, knowing that I was in great need of seeing my counselor. Just an overall bad business practice at New Day Counseling. Also, please BE AWARE they charge ridiculous fees for missed appointments and will debit your card without notice and cancel all of your future appointments without permission. Do yourself a favor and do adequate research for other places if you are in need of any places for counseling. STAY AWAY and don't WASTE YOUR TIME with New Day Counseling.

I definitely agree with the poor customer service and billing practices!
My wife and I referred to the New Day Counseling Center via Military One Source. We had about seven sessions with Ms. Harris and her staff. We found her to be very friendly and polite.
Meeting were generally not productive... We would spend most of the sessions doing small talk and catching up... I did notice she did not take notes during our meeting so every time we came we had re-explain our situation and goals at each meeting. She was hesitant to ask touchy or personal questions that were root of our problems in our personal life .
My wife is a department supervisor downtown and she was called into to work on a very short notice. She had to cancel an appointment with New Day Counseling Center on a 3 hour notice . They billed us $150 for a missed appointment fee and refused to waive it given the circumstances. The fee is a bit much and typically most doctor charge around $50 to $100 for a short notice cancellation. After this instance we decided it was best to go to a new provider.
