- AMAsia MonroeSep 11, 20251.0Whew! Where do I start. My first impression was he seemed overworked. Over the next few visits with my son that impression changed. Dr Goodson may know his stuff but his beside manners are HORRIBLE!!! He treats his patients as though they're nothing. The Way I've seen/heard him talk to his assistants is sickening. I asked him to speak with him in private. When we went in the room I expressed my disappointment with how he talks to and treats my son who is nine and was receiving braces. If you've gone through the process you know it's painful as points. He talked to my son like he had no feelings so I told him so. I started the conversation saying I know you know your stuff but your bedside manners could use some work etc. Instead of him being the professional he says he is and acknowledging the fact that I said what I said in private and not out in front of his full waiting room he starts yelling at me about how long he's been in business. It's a lot more that happened but Please save yourself some dignity and do not see Ernest Goodson. I went because he was the closest one to me that would see my son who is a Medicaid patient. I feel terrible because of what I put my son through. Now he has a half done mouth 😔😔😔
