  I have been a customer of Triangle Vision for several years, and this is the first time I have been truly disappointed. Something in their process has clearly changed. When you call now, you reach a call center that promises a callback within 24 to 48 hours, but that callback never comes. My issue began in January. I had previously purchased two frames from them and damaged the lenses in one pair, so I brought them in to be replaced. They measured the frames and placed the order on January 4th. I never received a call to notify me that my order has arrived. On January 24th, I stopped by to ask about my order and suddenly they had my order on site. The lenses that arrived did not fit the frames. I left the frames again. They apologized and said they would send them back to be remade and assured me they would ship the frames to the lab to prevent this from happening again. I tried calling but again only reached the call center, which promised a callback that never happened. On February 18th, I stopped by and was told there was another delay. I asked them to call me when the glasses arrived. On Tuesday, February 24th, I finally received a call saying the lenses had been shipped to the wrong location but would be overnight and that I would be contacted as soon as they came in. I never received that call. On Thursday evening, February 26th, I went in again and was told they had received the lenses, but no one had informed me, and they were still too large for the frames. Despite their earlier assurance, the frames had been shipped to the lens lab to avoid this issue. For the second time, they told me they were sending everything back to be corrected. It has now been two months since I placed the order. There has been no proactive communication, repeated mistakes, and I am still waiting. On February 27th, I was told the order had been sent to another lab and the new estimated delivery date is March 8th.

  Well, I went in Triangle yesterday and sales person Rebecca was fairly decent with helping me. We agreed I'd call back with prescription for glasses but when I tried calling I got no answer and went to voice mail. I tried again later and got a person off site who took my name and said I'd get a return call which never happened. Today I called and asked for Rebecca and once she was on the phone and I was giving her my information she seemed preoccupied and kept putting me on hold for an extended period of time. Each time coming back saying she couldn't find me in the system. I found that odd since they pulled me up quickly the previous day when I was in store. She put me on hold yet again Then once she came back to the call the last time she was very dry and it was very obvious she was ready to go. I then realized it was closer to 5pm and I guess it was to close to the time for her to get off to show good customer service. Nonetheless I endured her dismissive preoccupied behavior and finally she found me and gave me a quote. After getting off the phone I was curious to see the reviews and sadly I wasn't surprised at the negative reviews this location has received. I sincerely hope they will do better going forward.

  I can’t say enough good things about this optometry practice! Everyone was so friendly, and the atmosphere was calm and comfortable. The optometrist was incredibly thorough and made the whole visit stress-free. I left feeling confident about my eye care and would absolutely recommend them to family and friends.

  Absolute scam of a business. I don't understand how there are 4.5 stars for this place. They made me pay $99 for an exam even though my insurance covers it. Trial contacts never came in. I called every few weeks for MONTHS...starting in December of LAST YEAR about the contacts. I never got them so I ended up having to order my old prescription for another year and finding a new doctor. P.S. to Triangle Visions Optometry, please do not respond to this review. I'd rather not hear your corporate feedback on your "excellent service" and "commitment" blah blah.

  My appointments were postponed twice because the doctor who was supposed to work on Friday took the day off, so they canceled even though I also took the day off from work. This is the second time a similar situation has occurred. So I'm forced to use my PTO at home. So I moved to another office, I hope it will be different there
