  I just had a painless filling yesterday! I loved working with Dr. Ray for years, and transition to Dr. Slomovitz has been wonderful. He has joined the team seamlessly and provides thoughtful care. Highly recommended.

  Dr. Jason and his Duke Forest Dental team are exceptional dental care professionals serving the greater Durham area. I recently had fillings completed and it was a comfort to have such a highly skilled team perform this work. Dr. Jason carefully applied local anesthesia (numbing shots) without causing any pain and frequently checked to ensure I remained comfortable. He maintained a strong state of coordinated flow with his chairside dental assistant: advanced filling techniques were performed seamlessly, equipment was smoothly handed off, and the assistant precisely and carefully rinsed/cleared after every action. For chairside manner, the dental assistant was also very warm and polled me frequently to ensure I remained comfortable throughout the entire procedure. They kept it upbeat and positive along the way. I even got to pick the music of my choice, which was nice to focus on in the background. Dr. Jason is a very personable communicator, a resolute expert at the top of his craft, continuously studies and seeks out the latest methods in his field and leads with a powerful whole-person approach to dental health management. His first intake appointment includes an advanced, multi-factor assessment that provides a sophisticated picture of your total dental health. His approach, professionalism, kindness in demeanor, and exceptional skill give me great confidence that my dental health will remain well supported for the long haul. The front desk staff are friendly, responsive, and easy to work with. Overall, my recent dental care experience highlights Dr. Jason’s mastery in training and leading his team of high-performance, total care dental professionals.   I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Jason and his staff. They ALL take such good care of their patients with kindness, understanding and gentleness. Dr. Jason answers all questions with detailed explanations and support for the patient. The work he has done for me has always been of high quality. You honestly feel like you are being welcomed into their “home” instead of a dentist office. You won’t be disappointed in choosing Duke Forest Dental.

  After moving to Durham, I was concerned about finding a new dentist. Duke Forest Dental immediately put me at ease. The front desk staff was welcoming, the exam was very thorough, and Dr. Slomovitz explained what he was seeing and why in plain language. The office is modern and calm, and the care felt gentle and unhurried. I highly recommend Duke Forest Dental for anyone looking for a dentist in Durham.

  We recently moved to Durham and had to find a new dentist. We found Dr. Jason Slomovitz at Duke Forest Dental and are so glad we did. His office is bright, clean and modern. It was clear that Dr. Slomovitz was dedicated to using the most modern technology. In addition, his staff are friendly and very capable. I had to replace a front crown and he made sure that it perfectly matched in size and color to the front tooth next to it. It is a tremendous improvement over the previous crown. We've had two cleanings with Dr. Slomovitz and found them to be so comfortable and thorough. The fact that he uses warm water in the cleaning is a bonus! I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a new dentist.
