Everyone at AFC urgent care was kind and professional. They were efficient and smart, especially the front desk, who went out of her way to help me. It was nice to be treated so compassionately. A great team and my injury is healing nicely.

I saw Robert the PA and he was wonderful. He did a very thorough exam and explained his findings very well. He is also extremely pleasant! Kudos to Ashley the manager for taking an excellent chest Xray!

When going to an Urgent Care, you know there’s going to be a wait. Even with making an appointment online, there was a bit of a wait. But the front receptionist communicated upon check in that they were a bit behind. Once I was seen, my exam was comprehensive and I was listened to. I was given some prescriptions and was on my way. I realized as I drove up to the pharmacy that it was closed. I rushed back over to the urgent care (after they had closed) to see if I could catch someone and ask for a different/open pharmacy. The front receptionist was just locking the door when I drove up. Hearing my plight, she very generously said she would go back into the urgent care and call a new pharmacy. I appreciated her kindness from the beginning to the end of my visit at the urgent care. Although an Urgent Care is not where you want to be, this Urgent Care has kind people working to help make the visit a little nicer.

I had a very frustrating experience at this urgent care. I came in for a clogged/muffled ear, paid $200 total ($160 for the visit and an additional $40 to see the provider), and waited over 2 hours. What made the experience worse was the lack of consistency and communication. The medical assistant told me my ear looked clear, but shortly after, the physician assistant came in and said there was still visible blockage. That kind of contradiction is confusing, irritating, and does not build trust as a patient. I will say the physician assistant was very helpful, knowledgeable, and professional—I truly appreciated her care. However, the overall experience was overshadowed by other issues. The sanitation was especially concerning. The ear flush bowl given to me had visible earwax in it, which is completely unacceptable and made me very uncomfortable with the level of cleanliness. I understand that not every issue can be resolved immediately, but I expected better care, clearer communication from staff, and proper hygiene—especially for the amount I paid. Overall, the visit felt disorganized, unsanitary, and not worth the cost.

Very long review. I rarely do these. Unfortunately I only interacted with someone at the front desk. I scheduled an appointment at 4:40 for my 3 year old and was arriving about 10 minutes before. I was about 3 minutes away when AFC called me and said “are you on your way? We close at 5.” I said yes I will be there in just a few minutes. She said “well you need to start the paperwork.” I said okay I’m not able to do that, I’m driving. I scheduled the appt around 4:15 and live very close to the location and figured it would be just as fast to fill out the paperwork when I got there. She said “okay m’am” and hung up on me. When I walked in, she said “can I help you?” With very closed off body language. When I said she hung up on me she became agitated and confrontational. I decided I would leave and go to the PM Ped Urgent Care in Morrisville even though it was farther. The drive was very worth it as they are always courteous and caring. If you do not want patients coming in close to the closing time, there may need to be an adjustment in appointment availability. As someone who works in customer service, the staff needs extensive training in how to deal with customers, especially after reading other recent reviews.
