I was the “on the scene support staff” and for the first-time receiver and not the provider of homecare services. The Caregivers sent to Mary’s aid were first rate; they arrived on time every time, knowing what to do and when. They were responsive, kind, moving at Mary’s pace, soft-spoken, gentle, and encouraging. When downtimes occurred, they found something helpful to do, allowing my brother to rest. Together with the Hospice company, Mary’s end was as peaceful and comfortable as possible.
