The salesperson refused to put basic lenses as I requested although it is in stocked from online store. She selected very expensive lenses nearly $400 for the Ray-Ban Meta glasses and said that was the only option available. However, when I went to another store, they were very helpful and accommodated all my lens preferences, and I got a much better price there. I’m very disappointed with the salesperson’s attitude and will never return.

I would give them one star but the glasses staff was great! I came in town and unfortunately my luggage was stolen soo no contacts 😩 I had my glasses though but they fit was off so I went to have adjusted and asked the eye exam ladies if I could possible get a trial pair due to losing my luggage and all!! They say sure did you purchase contacts with us?
I say yes they say no; I say I'm sure you did cause I was contacted about the card on file for the purchase. I asked for the date of purchase; it was provided and I attempted to access my own records. I advised my HSA sends these requests overnight. I explained that I was sure I did despite not being able to access then.
So instead of be helpful and maintain a customer they instead called me a liar without using the word. Here to secure new housing and be back in QC and they would have been an easy choice for a provider as the doctor was great! But leave it to a few sassy front desk staff to cause a company that pays them to lose a customer

I'm big on customer service. It would have been nice if the staff had spoken to me upon me entering the store. 3 staff members and not one spoke to say hi. That speaks volumes to me.

The eye doctors adjacent to the store are great. Efficient and communicative. I highly recommend this office if it’s aligned with your insurance.
As for the optician and the store next door, it is not worth your time and effort. I found staff pretty average and not very helpful on the day that I selected glasses. Once I selected glasses I was a bit surprised at the actual cost of lenses despite a flat co-pay with my insurance. Take a close look at your insurance before you go. Coatings are extra and seem to be priced higher than other lens shops. Beyond that, it was easy to order the glasses.
But LensCrafters could not deliver on their order. Moreover, there was zero communication after I was instructed it would be 7-10 days to pick up my glasses.
I called a couple of days ago and was told yes, that my glasses had been delivered and I needed to wait for my text message so the optician could review the glasses.
Received a return call later that evening asking me to call back and that there was an issue with the glasses. Spoke to manager next day who indicated that the lenses were ‘crafted wrong’ twice already and wondering if I wanted them to be ‘crafted’ again or come back in to look at re-framing. I asked simply for the glasses I ordered. He agreed.
I receive a text message saying my glasses are in fact ready for pickup. Called and spoke to manager who sails optician figured out the ‘problem’. Great! I tell him. I can’t come
Now. I’ll be there tomorrow.
It’s tomorrow and I just requested and received a full refund. As I entered the store, there are signs indicating that they cannot disperse glasses because there is no optician on site. And I’d have to come back tomorrow. Didn’t even offer for me to review the glasses.
Would have been useful information yesterday when I spoke to the manager. Now I am out an hour of my time and no new glasses. I also have to wait additional time for this transaction to be reversed on my annual insurance benefit.
If only they communicated more effectively. Let’s face it, dominoes can track pizza cooking and delivery to the second and LensCrafters can’t accurately track expensive purchases and effectively communicate their process to customers day to day.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
