  I am not a patient of this clinic. I was in this medical facility to go to the ob gyn clinic. I was lost so I stopped in here to get help and ask for help. I was immediately given an attitude by the front desk girl. Only one girl in there. It was around 730 am I was given an attitude when I asked her for directions to find another Novant health office in that building. She sighed at me when she looked at me. I felt like she hated me from the start because my skin color was different than her. She was so rude and said go look on the back wall. Talked down to me with such an attitude. Wow . What did I do to warrant the attitude and eye rolls. I went to my ob gyn appointment and than afterwards I stopped by this clinic again and asked if they are taking new patients I was immediately told no new patients. I asked her name. She told me her name is Janine. The second time I went in there she was friendly after I started asking questions. I would think Janine working in the medical field would have compassion for others even though their skin color is different than yours. Janine had no idea how hard it was for me to face the world I suffer from depression I lost my son. I want to file a formal complaint against Novant health. You made me feel like less of a person by treating me garbage. Please Janine be nice to people you have no idea what someone is going through. I pray when Janine needs help she is not treated the same. So after I was told by Janine her office is not accepting new patients I went on Novants website and found out they are accepting new patients. I am attaching photos of the doctors in the clinic that according to the Novant website are accepting new patients in her office. Janine did not want me as a patient for this office. Janine works in healthcare and turns people away ...

  Be very aware of their billing practice! Every time I visit them for my year exam I receive bills I am not supposed to pay. Because it is yearly I know what I am expected to pay. Today for example I received the next pay request for 20 dollars. So again, I called my insurance, just to hear that in fact they owe me 20 dollars for a contractual write off. Very unethical, unprofessional and greedy practice. And I am not talking about how you discuss an additional problem on your yearly exam and receive bill for that. I am talking about labs that are supposed to be paid by my insurance. Lost so much time on the phone speaking with insurance people. Please, stay away from that practice! Never a word of apology on their behalf!

  This office refused to see me when only 10 minutes late to a first patient appointment. 10 minutes late. Not 11. Not 12. Not rounding. I had literally just had a low blood sugar episode that afternoon. I have had the day from hell with work and with having an emergency vet appointment today. 10 minutes late, traffic was bad the entire trip, but specifically caused at least 3 minutes alone on Fairview road with me close enough to see the entrance of the lot and unable to turn in. I'm not familiar with this neighborhood as I live in North Charlotte. I had been referred to this office by my obgyn. It was my first time to the office; so, give a minute for finding the right door. Absolutely unacceptable. Despicable. People are human, people are human beings who need realistic time exemptions. I am not habitually late and have NEVER had a complaint about being late to appointments before this. The first three reviews on here are people complaining about the wait time. Ironic. People can wait an hour for them but can’t allow for 10 minutes. Absolutely unacceptable. I didn't get any reminders about this appointment. No voicemail, email, or text. I could see it on MyChart, but had to log in myself to check the time. Regardless, I. was. there.
