  The whole staff is so great. Dr. Christy is the bomb. I even was running late and freaking out about it and they switched my appointment to virtual immediately so I didnt miss it. Everyone that’s saying it takes long to get in, well that’s literally every psychiatrist ever. This is the first place where I actually feel heard and enjoy going to. It’s an all female staff (doctors included) I believe, which is what I’ve been looking for. And they aren’t really running behind ever. My last place I had to literally leave because he was running like an hour every time. Anyway, thanks for being great y’all! Last thing, atrium treats you like cattle and cash cows. I’ve been all up and down atrium’s behavioral health center and I have never felt worse. I saw a different doctor every time. They diagnosed my fiancée with a certain disorder that her insurance would not cover even though she didn’t have that disorder just so they could get more money because she had to pay out of pocket. It was the least cared for I’ve ever felt. Don’t ever go to atrium especially for metal health related issues. I’ve never had any issues with Novant and moved all my doctors to female Novant doctors and I’ve never been happier

  I swear, Novant is really pissing me off. If it isn't the physicians dismissing your pain and feelings and not being helpful to assist you, it's the lack of communication! I was told to see a therapist at this office, I say ok, even though I've never met one that helped me but I was open. They put me with Kenisha Hopkins at this location and after 3 months (which to me is ridiculous), my appointment came. We met once and she said how we'd schedule future appointments and she looked forward to helping me and we'd set up appointments. It's been a month now, I've never received a call for appointments, mychart prevents me from contacting her, which she said at the end of our session to contact her whenever I need to. It kills me how unprofessional these so called "professionals" are. If she didn't want to work with me then say that! Don't pretend like you do then I never hear from you again and can't contact you. Or even, this location should have contacted me and told me to choose another person. I know these social workers are "supposed" to be helpful, but I prefer an actual therapist! Someone that went to school and studied therapy and therapy ONLY! To me, a social worker taking clinicals yet their degree is focused on "social work" is NOT the same! I'm so tired of this and Novant really needs to screen people better when hiring! People's lives are at stake!
