  I just called this office to schedule a first time appointment for my son who is begging to see a counselor, and they wouldn't schedule an appointment despite having insurance (PPO). We are fairly new to the area and have a new patient appointment scheduled with his new PCP. I was told they would not schedule an appointment to see my son until after he sees his new PCP (2 months away). I am shocked that with the mental health crises happening in this country, they would turn away a new client needing a counselor? Is he in crisis? Perhaps? I'm not in his head, but referring me elsewhere until I can go see another doctor first is criminal. Shame on you! I'll definitely go elsewhere and after reading the reviews about your office, we will definitely not be coming here.

  I recently had my second visit With Michael Christo and he showed up 10 minutes late to a virtual visit with no call or text as a heads up. My first (in person) visit lasted maybe 30 minutes. He continually talked over me, interrupted, and would not let me explain my experience or perspective When I tried to suggest what he was doing was inconsiderate and dismissive, he told me verbatim “you may be an expert in yourself, but I’m and expert in medicine.” Michael must understand that I am a human being with my own experience. The assumptions made after one 30 minute visit and one 15 minute visit are not infallible. For him to cut me off and talk over me as I try to explain my viewpoint is an egregious violation of doctor-patient trust, and, I believe, is emulatory of the type of behavior that has unfortunately led so may of our fellow human beings to mistrust doctors and common sense medical advice. I expressed concerns about the medication he prescribed due to my sensitive body chemistry. He again dismissed my perspective and told me that I needed more of it. I then requested a referral to a psychologist for non-pharmaceutical behavioral-based treatments which was tacitly refused. I encourage Michael to focus on understanding the patient experience, rather than being correct. Bias in medicine is a well-documented phenomenon that some doctors, under the assumption their medical degree trumps patient experience, dismiss patient concerns as wrong or irrelevant, leading to harmful outcomes and lost lives. Someone please intervene with this man before lives are lost under his care.

  Dr. Pathiraja has been a phenomenal provided to my wife Diane. The staff are amazing, and they care about the patients.

  Took forever to get someone on the phone to answer a simple question about appointments. They kept putting me on hold and transferring my call to another employee who was not even there. The man on the phone was extremely rude, was not knowledgeable, or willing to ask or find someone present to answer my simple question. If you're not even willing to help me on the phone with something so trivial, I can't imagine what their services are like. Steering clear from anything novant from now on. Thanks.
