  We’ve had excellent experiences with Dr. Scannell and the other providers at Novant Health Pediatrics Symphony Park. You can’t go wrong - all the providers are professional, welcoming to children and parents alike, and highly skilled! Specifically, Dr. Scannell has been our main provider. She is an excellent pediatrician with the best bedside manner I’ve seen. She speaks to the child, as her patient, not just the parent, and this gives the child a much needed “voice” in the matters discussed. We completely trust her highly skilled and thorough approach. After our most recent sick visit she followed up with some additional information for us via a message in MyChart. Something relevant came to her mind after our visit and she took the time to share it with me. We very much appreciate her extra time and effort, and this thorough approach is one of the many reasons we love Dr. Scannell and feel confident in the medical care she provides our family. Thank you Dr. Scannell and the staff at Novant Health Pediatrics Symohony Park! We appreciate you!

  Wonderful first visit and impression with Dr. Richter and nurse Lisa. Front desk was very friendly and put us at ease. We are excited to have our daughter under their care.

  Worst service ever, i would give no star what so ever if i could. My pediatrician for 17 years moved to this group very recently and i made an appointment for my 17 years old daughter, probably her last with a pediatrician. Unfortunately, there was a huge accident on 485 and i called them when i realized i might be late. I explained the situation and they told me they have a grace period until 10 min. later than the actual appointment time which is understandable but as an experienced mom who had been waited by the doctor for more than one occasion, and more than 30 min for so many times because he is the doctor and he has the right to be late to his appointments without any notice, right?.. But when i arrived at this place 13 min. after my actual appointment they turned me down... i could gladly take the appointment and cut it short so doctor could run to his next on time, only if given the opportunity because i am already there right?.. but no, according to this god awful place, doctors can delay and get their patients waited but patient has no such rights... well, may God not make me need you guys again because i'd rather stay home and suffer than coming to your doors for another appointment.... no, thank you!.. EDIT -- I edited my review because the company responded to my review and tried to make amends. This is important and i would like to thank them for following up. It feels great when you know your voice is actually heard. Our dear doctor also called me and apologized for the inconvenience caused although he has nothing to do with my review. Dr. Andrew Shulstad is an excellent medical doctor and took very good care both of my children over the last 20 years otherwise i would have looked for his advice even after he moved to another organization. Novant is very lucky to have him. While reception was busy turning me back, he was not even notified of my 'late' arrival... Anyway, long story short, I appreciate the follow up but unfortunately, it is not enough to gain my trust back to the organization. I hope and wish this attitude change towards being more people/patient oriented for the sake of current and future patients.

  The doctors, nurses and staff are amazing. So happy to have found such a dedicated practice. Nurse Jessica is absolutely wonderful, helpful and goes above and beyond to help patients and parents!
