My children have gone to this location in the past, but the one in Blakeney is closer, so we started going there. I called the location in Blakeney promptly at 8:00 am for an appointment, but they were full already. I called the Ardrey Kell location at 8:30 am as soon as they opened, and the first agent was very polite and gave me an appointment right away. 20 minutes later, another agent called back and advised that while no one else has called in for that appointment and they have availability to see my daughter today, they refuse to see her because she goes to the Blakeney location. I even confirmed, "So, you're refusing to see a very sick child today simply because she normally goes to a location two miles up the street. You confirm that she's in your system and you've seen her before, but today you're refusing to see her". The agent's reply was, "Yes, we need to open that appointment up fto OUR regular patients". Perhaps, that is just policy. Perhaps she was just doing her job, but what is the point of Novant's medical network if my children can't receive quality care anywhere within network, only the one they frequent. And the optics of refusing to see a sick child who's been vomiting and has had a migraine for almost 3 days is certainly very ugly. There are several one star reviews from over the past two years, so I'm not sure if this review will actually change anything, but there seems to be a drastic need for training and new personnel at this location.
