  Clean facility, nice staff however I am not only looking for nice. I’m looking for someone to take my child’s health serious and I don’t feel that’s happening. My child has had diarrhea every single day for a month straight and all that’s been done is an x-ray. I’ve been told that’s he’s backed up and to give him MiraLAX daily and a few enemas. It is not normal to have to rely on MiraLAX daily to control diarrhea. I feel that there’s no testing being done to get to the root cause. Diarrhea daily for over a month is NOT normal. No blood tests, stool samples, or other testing has been completed to determine the issue. No medication has been given to help stop the diarrhea and chronic diarrhea can be caused by serious illnesses that I feel is being left untreated. Not happy with this situation at all.

  When my child’s G-tube was unexpectedly pulled out, the Pediatric Gastroenterology team, Heather and Dr. Higgins responded immediately and brought us back without hesitation. They coordinated seamlessly with the Pediatric Surgical team, personally walking us over and ensuring everything was handled smoothly. Every person we encountered was kind, calm, and incredibly supportive during a stressful situation. We felt truly cared for and are so grateful for the compassion and teamwork shown to our family.

  We had a pleasant experience with Dr. Houck and the entire staff. The team was friendly and provided exceptional service. Dr. Houck was patient and listened to our concerns. He took adequate time for the visit and was thorough with explaining treatment options. I would highly recommend this office and provider!
