  Worst ER for children ever. My daughter was diagnosed with pneumonia. She went there straight from her pediatrician in ambulance cause her breathing was bad only for Novant to discharge us and send us home without proper exams and treatment telling us she will be fine. The next day I had to rush my daughter to Atrium because her condition got worst and she needed Surgery to survive.

  Dr. Carpenter , lacks sympathy and best side manners. It’s not the first time dealing with him. He refused to test my son for a full respiratory panel after bringing him in for wheezing and chest retractions.stated my insurance won’t let him. Which is a lie. After i pushed back he then swabbed him for rsv, covid and flu. Then sent us home before results came back. He wasn’t positive for RSV got results 30 mins after leaving with no advice on how to assist my 15mo. Don’t go here. However wait times are great but I’m seeing why no one comes to this ER
