  I see Emily she is wonderful she listens to you. She’s great with helping you manage your diabetes. My husband started going to her first and then I started going to see her.

  Happily surprised at the level of information and care I received today. For something that is certainly no fun, they made it as good an experience as one could hope for. I walked away feeling informed and knowing that we had a plan to move forward. No one wants to deal with scary medical stuff. It helps to start the journey with people that you like, respect and trust. I feel like it's all in good hands.

  I had one apt after having issues with a thyroid disease. Doctor was friendly but clearly didn't read my full notes as he seemed shocked as I explained my other health conditions. That happens from time to time and my health issues are extensive so I looked past it. However I recieve monthly labs because of high risk medication usage and one of my labs directly related to my thyroid came back alarmingly low. I tried to contact the office who were no help at all to figure out what to do. After a week of trying to contact them I finally get the response to schedule a vist and they will explain my results to me. Leaving me in a dangerous situation with my current issues. Will not return and now have an apt with a new endocrinologist. If you need consistent continued care this isn't the place to go.

  I have had two appointments with Dr. Wehmeier regarding ongoing hormone issues that were diagnosed by my primary care physician. During my first appointment, he spent the majority of the time trying to get me to agree to go back on birth control, then sent referrals to three other specialties for completely unrelated things and sent me on my way. At my follow-up appointment, he forgot that he told me to stop taking a certain prescription because it can cause birth defects if I get pregnant, which led to another lecture about getting back on birth control. After trying to refer me to other specialist, I told him I had enough of the run-around and would like some tests done. He ordered the tests, but never gave any instructions on where to go, how to get them done or anything. I sent them an email asking for clarification and it took a month for someone to call me back. She was extremely condescending and rude. Unfortunately, this has become the standard for women's healthcare.
